Air Force One

President Obama flew into Phoenix yesteday to speak at Dobson High School. Mark went out to the airport and took some great pics of Air Force One. I think Mark was much more excited to see the Jet than who was in it. He Loves his Airplanes :)

Lots of Pictures...little update

Mark posted some pictures so I thought I would explain. The first set is of Pacer's blessing day. I think it is obvious that Dalon played with his Aunt Marti and Sandra. They really enjoyed putting pigtails in his hair. I think he came downstairs with like 4 or 5 different styles. His face tells you what he thinks of his long hair :) Then there are the jets that took off by our house. Mark drove out to watch them take off. I think he misses turning a wrench on his F-16. The next set I believe is of the funday Mark, Brendan, Josh and the kids all had at the park flying remote control airplanes and kites. Thanks guys for taking the kids out...and thanks Brendan for feeding all of them :) The kids had a blast and Mark is out looking at more airplanes as I type :)

Phoenix Zoo

Mark posted the pictures of our trip to the zoo (he is getting good at updating for us). Anyway I thought I would add some of the funny things Coytt said while we were there. We had such a great time. The boys loved the animals and we went at feeding time and got to see some of the animals eating. They really loved the petting zoo and seeing all the animals like at Grandma Rothlisberger's house. Dalon really loved the goats and the hand washing trough.

Funny things Coytt said

When looking at the iguanna he shouted "look mommy it's a dinosaur."
While watching the rhino's he smiled and told us "he is big like bulk-head (a transformer).
He called the giraffe a long neck like on Land Before Time.
He really had fun riding the camel. He told me when Dalon is 3 then he can ride it too momma.
He really loved the monkeys and the lions and tigers. The lions kept roaring back and forth and he and Dalon would just giggle and giggle.

Dalon's reaction

I think Dalon loved the sounds of the zoo the most. When the birds would make a noise he would giggle. When an animal would make a noise he would giggle.
I was suprised that he enjoyed walking the zoo so much. He probably walked about 90% of the entire zoo. He didn't want to be in the wagon at all he wanted to experience it all with all his senses touch, sight, sound and unfortunately taste. (Luckily I was there to tell him that the stuff on the ground at the petting zoo was goat poo and not chocolate.)

Thank you Meagan for the 50% off coupon we had a blast!!!!
