Last night we took Coytt to the live performance of Go Diego Go (Thank you Grandma Barbara!)at ASU Gammage Theater and he had the time of his life. I wasn't sure how he was going to react to the big stage and the loud music, and all of the people, but he loved it. I was worried about parking and didn't want to walk far so I made Mark get us there early, well we were the first family in the doors and Coytt walked right up to the greeters and held out his hand for the Baby Jaguar Masks he was so excited. He kept saying "Go Diego Go," and growling like Baby Jaguar. When we got inside the theater he just smiled and ran toward our seats. Then when the show started he just stared wide eyed at the stage and watched intently. At one point he was so caught up in the show his mouth was partway open and he was drooling all down himself. When they would sing songs and dance he would stand on Mark's lap and dance and wave his arms and clap along it was so darn cute! I of course being the emotional wreck that I am seeing how happy he was started crying before the show even got started, I felt like such a dork until this other mother told me she bawled all through the first part of the Wiggles because she was so happy for her little girl. So I guess I am not the only cry baby mommy out there. I cried again when I saw him dancing and singing along; I was just so darn happy :) Mark enjoyed the show and watching his son sing and dance along. We just had a great time! And first thing this morning Coytt walks in our room with his Jaguar mask saying "Go Diego Go" and growling. Even though it was only 6am it was so adorable to wake up to such a happy little boy.

Summer Fun
Well it has been a long time since I have posted any pictures so I have quite a bit to add. It has been quite an eventful Summer. Brent and Marti came to visit. We took Brent to the Science Museum and both of them to Gameworks. Marti and I baked my first homemade apple pie, sorry the picture is of it half eaten :) Coytt has learned to love the water and has become quite the fish. He loves to put on his swimming suit and go to the pool. We took Coytt to his first MLB game with Mark's childhood buddy Rickey GO D-BACKS!! And now we are just loving hanging out with eachother and visiting with family. I wish we were headed to SJ for the 24th but with all my contractions and stuff I am nervous of what the altitude change will do to me, so we will be staying home this year, but we hope everyone else that goes has fun.

Mark taught Brent how to make Texas Party Burgers. It was so cute watching them and listening to Mark explain every little step including washing hands and cleaning up the mess as you go.

Coytt loved the science museum and wanted to try everything and push all the buttons.

Future Pilot?

Coytt Dancing
Well it turns out Coytt like his mother loves to dance. He has learned how to change the radio station until he finds something he likes and then he just dances around the room. He will even get up and start dancing if a comercial on TV has music. It is so cute to watch him stop what he is doind and just start to boogey around the room. One video is vertical because of the way we were holding the camera, and I don't know how to rotate it, sorry.

...and the Dr. Said
Well I went to the Dr. today and it was a pretty eventful visit. I had my glucose test and that went fine, except my iron is low so they did a full blood test to measure my blood count more completely. Baisically I need more green veggies and iron suplements for now until the results come back and the Dr. knows more. Next we of course checked the heartbeat and like always Dalon kicked hard enough that the doppler lifted off my belly. Dr. Kimbro laughed and looked pretty surprised to see such a strong kicker. After everything checked out ok with the heartbeat we discussed whether I should have another C-section or not, and we decided that I should. Mainly becuase the reason I had one with Coytt is becuase he didn't progress, and since I did actually push and he still didn't progress she said that this baby probably wouldn't either. Baisically I can't push babies out on my own so surgery is pretty much necessary. So we scheduled the C-section for September 26th. I can't believe it is only 11 weeks away. I told Dr. Kimbro about the contractions and she checked me and it turns out I do need to take it easy becuase I am 50% effaced and his head is down. She is running some tests to see if any of the labor hormones are present and when we get those results she will let me know what action to take. For now she just said to take it easy and not push myself too hard. That's all for now. We are excited to have an actual date and that the baby is doing well and growing properly. We will keep ya'll posted.

Good News
I got the contractions under control! I can now get out of bed and do some stuff around the house. I just can't go shopping becuase when I push the grocery cart or walk to long they start up again. So I may be confined to the house, but at least I can get out of bed. Hopefully I can keep them under control for the next 10 weeks or so.

Bedrest Bummer
Well looks like this baby thinks it is time to be here already. Yesterday I started having pretty bad contractions and now standing or sitting up for too long cause them to start, so I along with stong directions from my mom have restricted myself to the bed. I can't even get up to go potty without my stomach starting to get tight and contract, so I am being very careful to stay down as much as possible. I still have 12 weeks to go, but he can come safely in 10, hopefully I won't be down the whole time, and I can get control of it, but if I am I will definately need some good reading sugestions, and if you are bored feel free to call or stop by, I am sure I will be bored of being a bedrest bum pretty quickly. Mark is a great help and is taking care of Coytt and making sure I stay down, but outside company is always welcome. Well I better get back to the bed, even this short time at the computer is starting the pains, so I will have to go lie down until Mark is here to type for me. (That sweetheart is out doing the grocery shopping and getting everything ready for lunch and dinner). I will keep ya'll updated on what's going on and what the Dr. says after the holiday and I see her.

My Husband the Chef
Last night I came home to a wonderful suprise. As I opened the door from the garage I smelled the most amazing thing coming from our kitchen. I looked over and there was Mark towel over his shoulder and spoon in his hand standing over the stove. He had decided he was going to cook dinner and boy did he. I think last night's meal was the best meal I have had in months! He made this amazing carne asada and Fajita chicken, with rice, beans, guacamole, and homemade salsa (that was absolutely perfect). Everything was so amzingly perfect. It was like angels were dancing on my tongue with each bite. Mark has made meals before and they are always good, but this one topped them all and has definately topped anything I have ever made. I am so lucky to have such a talented husband! Coytt loved it too eating a large bowl himself. So next time Mark asks what I want for dinner I know exactly what I am going to say and he better be ready to get to work :)

Update
Wow it has been a long time since I posted something. Well a lot has happened in the last month. We went to the Rothlisberger Reunion which was a blast. Mark rode his first horse, and learned that he really likes camping. Coytt had fun with all the family and being able to run all over the place and get dirty. We only took our video camera so sorry no pictures. When we got back from the reunion we moved into our new home in Gilbert, AZ. It is a 4 bed 3 bath with a loft and we are loving it. Our new ward seems to be really friendly and we love the location. I have some pictures of the interior, we have had a lot of fun decorating everything. My master bed/bath are my favorites although I am not done with them yet.

Our dining room

Our masterbath, the picture of the towel below gives a better idea of the color scheme in our bath/bedroom colors.

Guest room, Grandma Rothlisberger made the quilt.

The living room.
We also got some fish for Coytt and he loves watching them swim around. In our bedroom we have a Betta and a Guppy living together and downstairs we have Balloon Mollies and a couple of others that I can't remember the names. One of our Mollies had babies the day we brought her home, and we learned that once a Molly has babies every month after that they have 100 or more babies, so if anyone is interested in free baby fish next month just let us know and I am sure we will have plenty to give away.
After we got settled in in our new home, we went to St. Johns for Mallory's reception, it was fun to see all the family and to take a little vacation from the city. I got Mark a .22 for Father's Day and so he spent most of the weekend out in the boonies with his brothers-in-law spotlighting and looking for rabbits and other small "game". He is becoming quite the country boy :) I spent time helping my mom with the reception, and when Mark was home he was a great asset in helping with the reception as well. Coytt loved playing with Uncle Brent, Aunt Marti and Aunt Mandi's new puppy Earl. Here are some pics of that fun weekend.

Coytt was so tired at the reception, but you can sort of get the idea of how handsome he looked.

As for everyday life here in the Corralez home things are pretty much the same. Coytt is growing so quickly and learning new things everyday (sometime this week he learned the word "no" and has been using it a little too much) he has mastered the stairs and can go up and down them easily and that takes a lot of worry off of mom and dad's shoulders. Mark is preparing to go back to school and together we are preparing to be sealed in the Temple (we are wating for our ward to find someone to teach the temple classes and then it won't be long after we take the 6 classes), we are getting excited for baby Dalon to get here; only 3 more months, and we can't wait.
I will post pictures of the outside of our house as soon as I take some, and I will get some updated pictures of Coytt (with his face showing) as soon as possible. But for now that should catch us up and hopefully I will be a better blogger this month.

Too Cute for Words
Mark and I have been trying to teach Coytt that there is a baby in mommy's belly so I will rub my belly and say "baby, baby" or "baby Dalon" (we have decided to name him Dalon Anthony) and Mark will do the same when he is home; rub my belly and tell Coytt "baby, baby". Well yesterday Coytt was running around the house in just his diaper and he got to the living room and stopped and looked at me and started rubbing his belly in a cirle and saying "baby, baby, baby". I couldn't stop laughing, he is so stinkin' adorable! All we have to do now is ask where's the baby or say the word baby and he lifts his shirt and rubs his belly saying "baby, baby, baby." He is too cute!

Oh BOY!
Well we went to the Dr. yesterday and had my 20 wk ultrasound and it looks like we are having another BOY! I of course am very excited, Mark is happy, but sad because he was so excited to have daddy's little girl. Coytt I am sure would be happy either way, but he does need a brother to wrestle with. The ultrasound went great, he moved a lot and it looks like we have another active little boy on our hands. Everything is fine and working properly the tech said. That always makes me feel good. The only problem we have now is thinking of boy names. We had a a girl name all picked out, but I have not been able to think of boy names. So if you ahve any suggestions for a little boys name please let me know.

I've Been Tagged
Meagan tagged me here's how it works, write 7 things/habits about yourself and then tag 7 other people and refer them to your blog for instructions.
1) I love to dance, any kind of dancing. I always say I am going to enroll in classes and I never do, but hopefully after this baby that will be how I lose the weight...dance classes. I am sure I will embarrass my children plenty when I dance around the store when a good song comes on, or as I dance around the living room even if their friends are around. It is just such a wonderful and free feeling.
2) I have a new found love for the gospel and want to have as gospel centered home and life as possible. I never thought I would feel this way or have the priorities that I do now, but I want to be as close to my Heavenly Father as possible. Although I am afraid sometimes that I will never be as spiritual as I desire, I am working hard at becoming more so every day.
3) I love beans and salsa. I could eat beans every day for the rest of my life and I would be happy. Pinto beans are my favorite followed by refried pinto beans. I will eat black beans, but pinto are my fav. I have been known to eat a whole jar of salsa in one sitting, once I start I just can't stop.
4) I love being a mother. I never thought that I would be such a sofite or such a cry baby, but being a mom has totally changed me. Every new thing he learns every challenge he overcomes brings me to tears because I am so pleased with him. I love playing with my son and singing to him. Even when he upsets me and I feel I am stressed beyond belief I love being his mom, and I know that no matter what I will always love him.
5) I am the most disorganized person you will ever meet. No matter how hard I try things just always seem disorganized and chaotic around me. It drives my husband bonkers, but it is just something that has always been a part of me, and even when I try it is a chaotic mess. I wish I had Mark's or Meagan's skills in this department, but I was definately not blessed with the skill of organization.
6) I love being spontaneous. If Mark said at 2am Saturday morning lets go to Vegas and visit your Grandpa Romine I would have no problem jumping in the car and going. I love to just let things happen. I am sure this adds to my disorganization, but I just love the feeling of doing things on the fly. It doesn't have to be that extreme either. Even not planning the weekend and letting it all just happen is exciting to me.
7) I love to snuggle. I don't mind when Mark, Coytt and I are all smashed together on the love seat, or the nights when Mark and I had to share a twin bed. I love being snuggled and snuggling back. I am glad my husband doesn't go completely crazy when I sit on the same cussion as him and just snuggle right up against him all the time.
Well that's about it 7 interesting or not so interesting facts about Monette Corralez.

Springtime Fun
I planted some chilis and tomatoes in pots on our patio and my first chili has started to grow. I am so excited. I am waiting for the tomatoes, Meagan already has some red ones on hers, so I need to catch up. I was so proud at Relief Society last week when they asked who had veggies growing at their home and I got to raise my hand...I am a true Mormon woman now :)
Too Cool isn't he?
We went to the park with Josh and Meagan. The wind was out of control, but we still had a lot of fun. I never knew there was such thing as too much wind for a kite. We had Mark's F-16 kite and it was an adventure to keep that thing in the air. We would get it up and then it would spin out of control and take a nose dive into the ground. It almost took Coytt out at one time. It was fun being out with the family though, and watching Josh try to fish in the wind. Coytt loved chasing the ball all over, and I didn't even have to throw it because the wind just blew it all over the grass.

These were taken a couple of weeks ago at my 13 week apt. The woman doing the ultrasound said if she had to guess she would say that 60-70% chance we are having a girl. But she also said not to paint any walls and to wait for the next ultrasound at 22wks. I am almost 16wks along now, and everything is going well. Mark is a great help, especially at night when I begin to get sick. I have started vomiting on a regular basis now. At least 2-3 times a week in the evening. I love eating mashed potatoes, and had to go buy and ice shaver so I could just munch on ice during the day. I feel fine during the day, but nighttime is really hard. I get extremely nauseous at around 7pm and the rest of the night I am either sick to my stomach or throwing up and on top of that I have heart burn that feels like it is burning a hole in my esophagus and chest. But hey in 24 more weeks I will have a beautiful baby and none of this will matter and it will all have been worth it.

D&C 25:12

"For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea,the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads."
This promise came to be today in my home. I was blessed this morning to lose the remote to the TV and so I decided to put on some music instead. Earlier this week I found this amazing website www.ldsaudio.com and had downloaded a bunch of my favorite songs so I decided to put the CD I made on and an amazing thing happened. The little boy I babysit suddenly stopped crying and I was able to put him to sleep and spend some quality time with Coytt. Coytt and I played with his favorite game this shape ball that he got for his birthday from my mom, we clapped and laughed together. Then we wrestled and played with each other. Although we were wrestling to songs like "I Heard Him Come", "Greater Than us All" and "His Hands" The spirit was so strong in our home. With such wonderful music in the background my thoughts were turned to the Savior and all that he has done, and is still doing for me. These songs are a righteous prayer unto him and by listening to them today I was blessed with a stronger testimony of our purpose on this earth and the Plan of Happiness that our Father in Heaven has blessed us with. The smile on my sons face and the sweet sound of his giggle is the greatest blessing I could ever ask for, and to know that someday Mark and I can go to the temple with our children and be sealed for all eternity and that our family is not just until death do us part is such a wonderful feeling. To have the knowledge that my Elder Brother Jesus Christ suffered so greatly and gave his life so that I might repent and become the person I am today with the testimony of his life, love and knowledge that he lives and loves me is such a humbling blessing in my life. The above scripture says the song of the righteous is a prayer and will be answered with a blessing on their heads and today I was greatly blessed by the song of the righteous with a stronger testimony of my Savior and with the happiness and joy my son brings into my life. And that is something to be greatful for.
